Death is not normal or natural, but an enemy, the consequence of sin. For people considering death normal, they’ve now invited him into their lives as a friend, one whose subsequent actions will only produce perceived acts of kindness. Getting your friends drunk or embittering yourself against any person or running away from home all, for example, will seem right to one who invites death (sin) fully into his lifestyle. Now their can be a confused mixing of beliefs and practices, but I speak of an extreme here, of one who finds sin irresistible and pursues it with gusto.
